Is it the public’s job?
No, but there are a lot more of the public out there than police, and many of those people have cameras so it only makes sense for the public to be encouraged to use Operation Snap.
If people learned to behave correctly around cyclists and other road users, we wouldn’t have any problems. As it is, a lot of people seem to struggle with basic driving standards, so I’m all for this guy doing what he does, and I say that as someone who doesn’t even cycle.
I think it’s not the public’s job, but that if people actually think about it in those types of terms, then we’re sort of screwed.
For society to work well, the public does need to contribute. It can’t always be somebody else’s problem. When you see Japanese fans cleaning up the stadium after a World Cup game, you don’t see it as if it’s a failure of their society. It’s the opposite. It’s their culture in service of society.
The public willing to help out is not a job, but it also cannot be downplayed as unimportant.
You should never interact with the police at all.
Why get paid to be a cunt when you can do it for free eh?
People putting others in danger = not a cunt.
Person pointing out others are in danger = cunt. That’s some cunt logic.
Not just pointing out but acting on behalf of the state to collect fines and punish.
Boy I sure do feel safer being monitored all the time so I can be properly punished whenever I make a mistake. Please daddy jackboot, give me another.
Not just pointing out but acting on behalf of the state to collect fines and punish.
Don’t be a cunt on the road, it’s not hard. If i can legally and personally put some cunt driving dangerously off driving forever i would, but i can’t, so someone will have to do it, and we paid the state to do so with taxes.
Or you know they know the just of the police is never safety.
Does it make you mad when someone points out that you’re acting in illegal and dangerous ways?
It makes me mad when people support the dangerous gang that is the police.
Nah. Just cunts doing cunt things.
