When I get back in bed with my first cup of the day, the kitty typically gets on my lap and takes a big SNIFF of it. I’ve never seen another animal be consistently interested like that- I like to imagine she’s a reincarnation who really enjoyed coffee in a past life, and this is a simple reminder of that

Our Rodents start screaming once they hear the coffee machine but I assume this is due to it meaning they’re getting fed soon and not because they’re coffeine hounds
