Yes but say let’s charge them 1 or 3 percent more. Then put that into a fund and give it all to Social Security so we can kick that bucket further down the road? Or use it to increase minimum wage? I always wondered if the US supposedly hate immigrants so much (even though its a country found on that idea). Actually lets just brass ball this this thing. I am just sick and tired of the immigrant thing. Hell 3 gen’s ago my family was a Czech, my neighbors are Irish and Arab. I guess it is a simplistic way to ignore the real problem on how fucked up the immigration system is…sorry to rant…thanks for the response tho…

Ah I’m sorry, yeah I get your line of thought. There are some visas and pathways to citizenship that come with higher fees that are kind of like what you’re thinking.

But yeah, immigrants pay a lot of taxes in the US (which also varies by state). It’s a detail that a lot of people don’t really think about when talking about immigrants and the issues therein.

I like your questions because they almost always stir a good bit of replies. Which sometimes kicks off deeper conversations which is fun!

do appologize to you and scooby but I am going to yell. ABOUT FUCKING TIME PEOPLE GET WHY I POST. That’s it. But really you have no idea how hard it is to get recognition of what I am doing without saying it.

Speculation: If you tax them, then there’s an extra step to take that money and pass it on to billionaires. Make a mistake and some of it may get used to benefit the plebs. But if you make them illegal and threaten a much worse fate, then that lets the billionaires exploit them and directly benefit from their presence.

Is that facist? I was just asking how come the US does it but countries in the middle east do.

Is it fascist to consider that minorities need to struggle more than the majority, and need to be exploited for absolutely no reason other than to punish them for not being born privileged?

Yes. Yes, that’s fascist. As fuck.

Have you actually looked through all their posts? It seems more like stream of conscious thoughts type of questions that don’t always hit right or are phrased well.

They almost always stir up engagement though.

The engagement patnou creates is exactly like this post. People wondering how someone could create a post like this and what is wrong with Op.

Not necessarily. I’ve seen discussion spiral from them before.

I think most people are misreading OP in general.

The US is not a monoculture. Many areas broadly accept/promote immigration. Many areas do not.
