Lemmy is starting to really tire me out with constant negativity. The niche comms I sub to are mostly quiet, and the big ones it seems like everyone is at each other’s throats.
This was a joke, in shitposts. I thought it was worth a chuckle, but not really worth dissection and all the negative energy.
I am not directing you to get out but that’s what I generally did if I didn’t like what the community was about, I ain’t wasting energy complaining about it.
Edit: Apologies if I am being blunt about it, I feel like the rise in negative posts could be correlating to the current political environment of our glorious circus of a country, people are unhappy, so they post unhappy things.
kinda like how during ussr there were a lot of really sad songs that were released, it’s people were just generally depressed.

How is me giving you advice on leaving the community because you don’t like what people post evidence to what you said?
Because saying “get out” to someone commenting that they think the vibes are harsh is pretty negative.
