If you washing machine has a Bedding setting then try using that. It prevents this from happening, at least of front loading machines.
Mine has one that says waterproof… What the hell is that for?
Cleaning things that are hydrophobic
Well, yeah waterproof, but I guess what I mean is how is that cycle any different?
I assume the soaking cycle times are different? I feel like they would be longer in this case? I don’t know the chemistry of detergents, water, and hydrophobic molecules (used in clothing) but I assume the automation either increases soaking time for stain penetration or decrease it if it doesn’t matter. ,
