Nearly 150 electric trucks will deliver groceries to Australian homes in the country’s largest electric truck rollout to date.
Zenobē has leased 148 Foton T5 battery-electric trucks (BETs) to Woolworths, with first deliveries commencing in May and the full fleet rollout expected this year.


It needs to be carefully calculated what is better. There is less carbon per joule in oil. But power stations are more efficient than ICUs. But there are transmission and storage losses for electricity. But some electricity comes from wind. But transporting fuel also isn’t emission-free. The list goes on. If we only have nuclear, it would solve this dilemma.
I thought it was fairly settled science because petrol cars only use 30% of the energy generated by oil where as EV’s are using 90%
