    I set my hopes on Count Binface. Although if he actually wins, he will face an interesting challenge in parliament. As far I remember, hats (and probably helmets, too) are not allowed in the House.

        I feel like his novelty would wear off if he actually appeared in Parliament. He’d probably be told that the costume won’t be allowed and then become an abstentionist in protest.

          Don’t be pessimistic. Look up Martin Sonneborn, MEP. He got voted into the EU parliament in 2015 with his purely satirical party “Die PARTEI” and is still there, because he does a comparatively good job. While still being satirical.
