I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

Sorry for the newbie question, but how is your nextcloud setup automated? Is that like a compose/yaml file?

As a European/American, I know how fucked things are, that’s why I’m here now, not there, and never moving back. Those Americans drank the cool aid.

Also, NFTs. Wasn’t there a supposed use case for contract authenticity or something?

Overall adjusting seat costs per flight based on how full or empty that flight is, is first degree price discrimination.
Interesting. Hotels do this all the time, jacking up prices 100s of % as occupancy increases. And of course if there are events or concerts happening. Supply and demand, sure I guess. Still feels scummy.

What does DE mean in this context?

LFG?

Can you show some of the responses?

Good to know, thank you!
It wasn’t very clear, but that was based on other people’s comments; I haven’t gotten to installing either of them. (I need to get on it lol).
But that makes sense. I saw people say just don’t auto update, because it is early days like you said.

I’m getting my first server up and running and always considered getting immich. But lately I’m leaning towards photoprism because of updates breaking immich sometimes apparently and photoprism being more mature(?).
Why do you want to switch?

Can you expand on that or ELI5?

My microwave has a feature that, after it’s done microwaving, positions the turntable the way it was when it started. So a cups handle is always accessible.

That’s amazing, thanks for sharing that about piefed. More people should hear this. It ties the Fediverse together nicely and is likely opt-out.
I’ve been holding off on using it more because I haven’t found a replacement for Summit. But because of that feature, I’ll make a bigger effort.

What happened in 1991?

I’m no war expert here, I’m not going to pretend I know anything more than a handful of videos and articles. So I wasn’t trying to come at you hard or anything.
Ah, I do get what you’re saying there. I’ve wondered the same. We do hear about the Russians even gaining ground.
But the losses in manpower and equipment Russia is incurring isn’t sustainable, and with the level of sanctions against them, they can’t replace their best equipment. Or so I’ve read.
What do I know, I’m always open to more information.

Do you have anything supporting that? There is a ocean of evidence showing otherwise.

How would Russia have surpassed the US and China? What did they have that would have contributed to that superiority? I realize that is a massive question, but to a a casual observer, that seems curious.

Pretty interesting and always impressive what technical marvels humans have creates. This is a rare glimpse into such a machine from the past.
Nice! Thank you
