Personally not, I primarily use Samsung but hear from colleagues that they had issues with other brands. The other thing is that there are only 2 brands that make screens, Samsung and LG. Those screens are used by all the other brands as well.

They don’t have to cost money. The mail filter appliances are all based on postfix, spamassassin and a virus scanner like clamav. The thing you pay for is the nice gui.
Google started as the always ad free search engine.
I recently moved to Mailcow, it’s a one in all solution. My spam filter is Proxmox mail gateway, also very user friendly.
I also have a mail filter, I have been hosting my own mail server for the last 25 years.
First: You shouldn’t care about what others think.
I can understand why your husband thinks it’s too late for him. I am also in my 50’s and my daughter has a 6 months old son and I could never do that again. It’s not just now but if that newborn is 20 your husband is 71.
The screens Sony uses are Samsung or LG but just against a premium price.
Today I would say that Samsung is the most reliable brand for TV’s. If your tv would last longer than 5-10 years you would never buy a new one.
They keep playing the “Crying over WW2” card but in my opinion that’s longe gone. Without Israel there is a bigger chance of pease in the Middle-East.
But at one point he will be gone, maybe before this term ends.

Yes, that works just fine. Wen my daughter was at her boyfriend’s place she used a wireguard tunnel to my house to use Netflix.
Ok, the only country in Europe currently still using dial up is Croatia, the rest of Europe has shutdown those services years ago. Telephone wires have been used for aDSL since the early 2000s and stil used for vDSL but dial up?
That’s horrible, I got fiber at home 1GB up and down. How can you expect a country to be at the top of things when you don’t invest.

It’s funny that the US still has dial-up. In the Netherlands the last dial-up provider stopped their service on oktober 1st 2021, and that was already late.
Is anyone still using dial-up?
The Redlight district. Every city has/had them and for us it’s just normal. As a kid I had to pass some of those windows to get to school.
It is, I looked at several vendor’s and it’s all te same except for the nice gui. They all have their own blacklist that they feed with the spam/ham queries from their devices.
