American conservatives have always had distaste for Europe due to its different mores, more liberal political center, and general diversity of cultures. And also the overall view that anyone that isn’t “us” is “them”
Lie cheat and steal to hoard billions while people die, but its cool as long as you give some of it back later /s
Especially if you only give it back once you’re done with it and about to die 🤔
It’s a step above the other immoral billionaires I guess
I’m a fan of 12 months of 30 with a 5 day new years in between
In any case, you understand why conventions exist and persist despite imperfection
Why do you use 60 seconds in a minute and not an even 100? Why use randomly sized calendar months? Why do you say doce instead of diecidos?
Why would you add one? Who even sees it? This reddit/lemmy style of posting and commenting has always worked with just a username and a comment and I like it that way. If my app started showing them I’d either turn them off or find a new app.

The same dumb stuff they did in the US.
Kids can access porn sites if unsupervised. So they blamed the porn sites for not properly age-verifying users. The only way to do that would be to force porn sites to check IDs. Porn site visitors want anonymity and are not going to enter their government ID on a porn site. So instead, those sites just block traffic from the states that passed the laws, and all the porn visitors either use a VPN to access the site anyway, or find an even shadier site to visit.
Obviously 1/3 vs 1/4 is the same distinction regardless of unit. But part of the whole idea of metric is avoiding dealing with fractions in lieu of decimals. It’s inherently less fraction-heavy.

Why limit yourself?
