Also, since you are talking about a modern system, you also would need kernel, drivers and operating system calls documentation. All of these exist (for an open source OS like linux, and if you follow the aforementioned standards), but bundling them in a book, and keeping them uodated, would be just impossible.

I wouldn’t be so sure. From the little I know of Greenland, the people are quite combative of their independence, as all native people are once they have been absorbed by western culture. The prime minister/governor/can’t remember the title said quite clearly that they aren’t for sale.

That’s bullshit. Trump wants Greenland’s resources for his empire. The Greenlanders will get exploited and see no benefit to these resources. They will probably lose welfare and gain police brutality.

• the US most likely had inside help, Venezuela being less hostile towards them than China or Russia it was probably easy to convince people
• head of states of China, Russia and North Korea are much more likely to expect such attacks and have probably more resources to spend on personal protection and armies. Putin is notoriously paranoid and it’s difficult to locate because he spends a lot of reaources to hide
• as others said, those countries have nukes

Because 1) EU laws defend the customers a lot more and 2) US companies have already so much power and money, they can fuck over you easier, and you don’t have easier alternatives, or at least some people pretend you don’t

Don’t compare yourself to others, what works for them doesn’t necesserily works for you. Do what you enjoy, try and spend as little as you can so you don’t have to worry about abandoning them and regret, and try and not hoard hobbies: if you buy a guitar but didn’t play it for 3 years, maybe it’s time to sell if and recover some money, if you know you don’t care about it. Just try and not feel too bad about it. Hobbies are and should be to enjoy passing times only.

Since some extensions are “mozilla-approved”, I guess they test it regularly, it wouldn’t be hard to verify if one is really sending anything despite their disclosure.

Not all positions require outstanding motivation. If you are a project manager, sure a motivated one will probably outperform someone there just for the money that doesn’t give a shit. A technician on an assembly line? It doesn’t matter, you are there to operate a machine and motivation will not make you (sustantially) more productive, incentives on the other hand will (benefits, salary, less stressful working condition…)

People think this is a personal attack. It’s not (unless this guy actively supports his government). It’s sad that people suffer because of their government actions? Yes. Is it necessary? As a symbolic act of protest against a regime you don’t support, also yes.

Not only the content doesn’t exist yet, it’s just not practical. Even now 4k broadcasting is rare and 4k streaming is now a premium (and not always with a good bitstream, which matters a lot more) when once was offered as a cost-free future, imagine 8k that would roughly quadruple the amount of data required to transmit it (and transmit speee is not linear, 4x the speed would probably be at least 8x the cost).

And I seriously think noone except the nerdiest of nerds would notice a difference between 4k and 8k.

Not sure about USA, but in other countries istigation to suicide is absolutely illegal and punished.

If you use a vpn you appear as a non-uk user, you don’t have to show the ID. If you don’t have an existing account, the only reliable source of geolocation for websites is your ip address, so a vpn can effectively circumvent that.
