Ummmm. The point is to use MacOS’ version of MPI which this article talks about.

That said, yeah those are Intel Macs. Would do well with Linux.

This article talks about MacOS’ support for “MPI”. I have a few MacBooks sitting in a drawer from different eras. Is there something interesting I can do with them? Something less research and more selfhosting-y?

Pythagoras was a cult leader. That’s the real story there!

Train us, sensei, in these dark arts!

Completely agree. And that’s why the second part of my comment. Actually intelligent ppl are protesting the world over right now.

Actual intelligent people by IQ or by education? Those are the ones working for the Billionaires, pushing shit ads to our eyeballs and enshittifying platforms for us.

Actual intelligent people by street smarts are pushing for democracy, better technology, better education, but their voices are being drowned out by the wave of hate caused by lack of adult education.

Horse Jesus?

Yeah that was a messed up thing to discover!

Shit. I just got the joke on my second viewing of this!

Before washing machines, people would hand off washing to professionals. Now the expectation is that the person who can afford it must wash things themselves. More time spent on that.

That last one is a hacker and social engineer.

What? No no. Why would they ever do that?! Didn’t you read @tar_alcaran’s comment which I replied to? That we give data to Facebook after agreeing to it!

Huh?

What a dick move to remove the FOSS code.

Oh, I thought HQ is in Cali? I know, I know… “HQ”.

Yes they are… it was mostly a facetious comment. I think it’s two brothers and one handle California and sales and the other handles China and production.

Didn’t they reclassify TP Link as US based since the company is, ya know, US based?

Anyway. Glad I got the devices when I did. They’re banger.

Ok lemmy what the fuck is going on?!

“You agreed that Google and meta…”

You sure about that? Did you read every term and condition? Did you agree that they would keep a complete record of your exact location? Did you agree that they will record your voice using the Bluetooth hack? Did you agree that Facebook should be able to buy your medical data off the data market and combine it with your profile?

No, but how did they get it into the underground space? Elevator? Or there’s a way to drive in which still prevents all signals getting out?
