Thanks

Not just that open source video games are becoming more relevant as time goes on

I would definitely use this but why wouldn’t they have it search movies under CC BY-SA, CC BY, CC BY-NC or CC BY-NC-ND instead of just public domain.

Then it can run it, and yes I consider tvs and projectors that are like monitors and screens like gameboy or phone screens to be monitors, although you may need to change the games graphics to be monochrome.

I do not know if I would say monopoly but if they do, it is because they have the best service, examples: steam features, steam machines, including steam deck, the os is under GNU GPL v2.0 and a linux distro, and they are actively trying to provide the most freedom possible to their customers.
Look at what steam offers when you get games on its store for example, play time, achievements and even good prices, not to mention the services with s&box and the non commercial use of the team fortress 2 source code and there might be more services valve provides but those are the services I can think of now.
