I don’t think I’ve ever run into those here in the Netherlands. Perhaps it’s common enough to withdraw and deposit cash here, and it’s uncommon to deposit cash in some Asian countries? Maybe there’s random laws against things I don’t know of, I wouldn’t be surprised if we require ATMs to work both ways here even if people rarely use them 🤷‍♂️

Maybe stuff you can’t pay with also shouldn’t be allowed to loan money with. I know it currently does work like that, I’m just saying it shouldn’t, because this creates so many loopholes.

My favourite part is the updater and I miss it in other distros. I don’t always want to update blindly, I hate it about Windows and Arch and NixOS don’t fare much better OOTB. Mint’s updater shows you what can be updated, the from and to versions, how much data would be transferred, and most importantly the changelog of each part!

I genuinely appreciate I can go through these, uninstall anything I don’t use anymore and learn what new things will come to my computer!

You can load your own ringtones, but you have to use a Mac or Windows computer with iTunes. I did this years ago to help my old rocker mum to have Born To Be Wild as her ringtone on her iPhone (13?).
