2-3 weeks is way too short to do Japan and Thailand together. In either you can easily spend that much time and have barely seen anything.
Edit: but what exactly does this have to do with this community?

Uranium needs to be processed first, and the major uranium processing facilities Europe has been using are in Russia and this kind of equipment isn’t something you can quickly build yourself.

And sleeping on battery technology.
Extremely annoyed at users that think everyone has iOS phones, when most of the world have Android. Thinking that the US is the only relevant place means you have serious tunnel vision. /s
Oh and blame Apple. They are extremely hostile to open-source devs publishing apps on their platform.
Probably a bad idea to congest the limited bandwidth of Tor with voice chat.

The article is shit, but I kinda agree that the Spanish government is hypocritical in this situation, but mostly for other reasons than the article states.
Anyways, this post gathered some reasonable discussion about the topic and I don’t think people will get the wrong impression that this article is something we endorse here.

Given the political affiliations of the author that isn’t exactly surprising.

I don’t see how the car rental company is at fault in the setup you describe. And the biggest mistake is using a scammy 3rd party like booking’com for interacting with the car rental company (or a hotel etc.). And if you really think this is intentionally done, then you should complain to booking*com that they shouldn’t list that car rental company.
Edit: just to clarify: correct spelling of the name is important for insurance purposes. And if you had booked with the rental company directly then there would have been no issue with changing the name most likely.
The app itself might be fine, but you are either using the Mozilla services or the backend written by Mozilla. Sadly Mozilla has lost all the good will it had and is just another silicon valley AI company these days, and seems to prefer it that way.

The whole post rides on the radical narrative that corruption is at extreme levels and the “socialist elite”, “subsidy-dependent immigrants” are responsible.
I can’t find this in the article or the github repo, but indeed this seems to be a one person vibe-coded project.
That’s from Mozilla, another AI company…
The first three on this list can do it: https://joinjabber.org/docs/apps/android/
Explanation here: https://joinjabber.org/tutorials/service/unifiedpush/
If you use ntfy mainly as a Unified Push distributor on Android, then I highly recommend switching to a XMPP client that can do the same.
https://github.com/lldap/lldap is much simpler.

The coal plants are mostly lignite, which can be locally mined (at great environmental cost). From an energy security perspective this makes sense over being reliant on foreign natural-gas or uranium processing capabilities.

Xmpp and Matrix have bridges that only require to install WhatsApp on some old phone and turn it on once every few weeks to renew the connection.
This works independent of what is mentioned in the OP’s link.

I recommend Forgejo over Gitea, and you definitely need an AI scraper blocker like Anubis in front of it as otherwise they will kill your VPS rather quickly, as these AI scrapers absolutely love to scrape code forges.

Ericsson? Wasn’t that the company that failed to offer a competitive alternative to the Huawei 5G equippment and then lobbied EU governments to ban that equippment? Sounds like they might be somewhat at fault themselves there no?

This seems like something that would really benefit from better language support. I saw the translations folder in the repo, but you should probably get it linked up to a Weblate instance or similar and have people start contribute different languages asap.
I am more concerned about GrapheneOS still using Shitter and Reddit (especially when they apparently have their own Mastodon instance) then this largely inconsequential but slightly better than the status quo initiative by a tiny German phone reseller (Volla Systeme GmbH, not to be confused with those Finnish Jolla aka ex-Nokia people).
