Are we governed by stupid people? The money and power will be gone. It’s like turning into communist eastern Europe. If they are stupid, how can they stay on top? To me, it looks more like them being intelligent and paid off. But what’s the goal?

Greed for power, money and control is the real motivation as far as I can tell.
This lockdown won’t create a creative society and thus won’t create prosperity. I think everybody here knows.
