I’ve had maybe a dozen Taco Bells in my life, and had no digestive issues. What is wrong with people?

this is a meme about the explosive diarrhea outbreak in the US. aka MAHA led US winning.

Americans asserting taco bell diarrhoea has been theorized as for many, their diet is so bad, when they eat beans, rice etc i.e some fibre instead of endless meat, they take a normal shit and because it doesn’t need a poop knife, they assume diarrhoea

      and here we are

      What is wrong with people?

The states are dealing with a cyclospora parasite outbreak.

Taco bell is actually being responsible pulling items prematurely, because there is still no information where it originated or how it’s spreading.

Edit- worth mentioning the CDC used to proactively track this parasite, but toddler in chief dropped that program last year.

In addition to cyclospora, surveillance of campylobacter, listeria, shigella, vibrio and Yersinia was cut. FoodNet now only regularly monitors two diseases: Salmonella and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli.

A list of CDC talking points seen by NBC News last summer clearly blamed funding for the program’s drastic cutback.

“Funding has not kept pace with the resources required to maintain the continuation of FoodNet surveillance for all eight pathogens,” the talking point read.

Fiber. The average American eats 500g of protein a day and maybe accidentally 1 gram of fiber.

Then they go to Taco Bell where every menu item has beans (a staple source of fiber) -> poopacolypse

I figured this out a while back after always wondering what people were talking about and it makes so much sense. Dudes living on Doritos and code red talking bout the Taco Bell shits like bruh eat a salad

No one is getting 500g of protein a day except for people using supplements and even then that is a fucking ton.

You’re right about the fiber though; it’s honestly pathetic.

“150 gram steaks!!?! What’s the point of eating such a small piece?” - me when I was a steak everyday guy. Yes, I know there’s some fat in there.

Meat does cause sweating if you eat horrifying amounts and clog up your digestive system.

I had maybe a kilo of meat every day for a year or so, quite fatty meat, and only a bit of salad drenched in balsamic and milky iced coffee for other nutrition.

In one way I was living the dream. In another way, I was causing my liver to hate me and building a caloric surplus vault ending up at around 50% in excess of sensible reserves.

You’ve got to realise that when you say “Nobody does X” you usually mean “nobody sensible does x”. There are a lot of people who aren’t sensible.

you were using protein grams, which is the protein content of a steak, not the raw weight of the steak.

Meat does cause sweating if you eat horrifying amounts and clog up your digestive system.

meat is fully consumed in the stomach, it doesn’t clog up digestion.

I was causing my liver to hate me and building a caloric surplus vault ending up at around 50% in excess of sensible reserves.

                Meat doesn’t stress the liver.

Not a scientist but this sounds so right. As a regular consumer of fiber, I find taco bell to be one of the more digestible fast food chains. Fiber actually holds water into your stools after going through the stomach, but if your body isn’t used to getting any then you are probably gonna be in for some kind of event.

Lack of fiber. Taco bell has been priced out of authentic sawdust and has oped to use a synthetic knock off. They just dont make it like they used to. No commitment to natural ingredients. Hate to see it.

I’ve had TB hundreds and hundreds of times, it’s one of the only fast food I could eat every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of it

We just have superior digestive bloodlines!

A meme. I had Taco Bell plenty in my High School years, never had issues. Once upon a LONG time ago there was a lawsuit alleging feces were in some Taco Bell product or another, but I don’t remember whatever came of it or when it was.
