Sure, but they are right that it’s faithful to the source. Which is a culture shock whatever way your coming from.
Personally still on the fence about it, love me some SAC, but the animation of the new show is superb and a joy to look at.
I really like the old movie and Stand Alone Complex too but I‘m really eager to finally watch a faithful manga adaption. It was long overdue.
