A guy who some credited with being instrumental in getting Bill Clinton elected that quickly faded from relevance but keeps appearing on CNN and MSNBC to spout his opinions, which are frequently either bad, irrelevant and/or dumb.

Corporate dem to the core as far as I can tell.

Centrists become abusive when they know they’re wrong.

This guy only advised one winning campaign three and a half decades ago, and only won that one because Ross Perot split the republican vote and Bill Clinton was more charismatic than GHWB.

I’ll never forget when they got CNN to leave the mics on so Elizabeth Warren could call Bernie Sanders a sexist and a liar on live, national TV. The euphemistically-named centrists are the reason we got Donald not once but twice.

These people deserve a permanent case of crabs.

My favorite was when they were like “Did you tell Warren that a woman can’t win” and Sanders was like “no” and then they turned to Warren and were like “How did you feel when Sanders said a woman can’t win?”

Now the same people say women can’t win whenever someone brings up the idea of AOC running.

“These people are so fucking stupid, I don’t know what to say about it,” said Carville in a video for Politicon. “So now we have this idea that these insurgent Democrats — and what is their solution? Is their solution to beat Republicans, to run against Republicans? No!”

He continued, “Their solution is to beat Democrats like they’re part of the problem.”

Feels a bit Dunning-Kruger to me. He has no clue how shallow and dumb his own position is, and or how the people he’s disagreeing with have already thought through it and far beyond. So he thinks the stupidity lies with them.

Did Carville just find out about primaries? Did he just wake up from some kind of cajun hibernation where he missed the DNC primarying the fuck out of everyone who identifies as leftist since the dawn of time?

        It’s actually an anthropological issue:
As elders survive longer and fit better than the minors they oppress, they use their survivorship bias to groom the next generation to fit their exact needs.

        It’s happening everywhere.
        Where I live, it’s hopeless.

It’s easier for conservatives to line up behind a leader because they don’t think about what the leader says. Listen and Believe is the way (when it’s an old white dude saying things that make them feel good).
