I haven’t played Odyssey but I don’t know why it would be any different to the combat style of the other five or so I’ve played, which has always been the same.

The next AC, I’m sure, will continue to just be a reskin of the combat of the first. It’s always the same mechanics, buttons, and even animations despite all these years and titles now…

But, put it out there, you might enjoy the Kingdom Come Deliverence games if you want satisfying combos and combat mastery in a sandbox adventure game.
