I’ve seen House of Cards (starring Kevin Spacey & Robin Wright) where the first 5 seasons were excellent, but the sixth (final) season is shit. It’s definitely been rushed during production on top of the drama with Spacey himself having to leave the show (due to allegations of sexual misconduct), so the show was rewritten into his character dying from a heart attack shifting the point of view into Robin Wright’s character instead.
The ratings plummeted but the last episode is the worst reviewed via IMDb, like WTF was that ending all about?! They didn’t even try to make it 13 episodes like the previous five seasons (cut it off at the 8th episode making that the 73rd and last, the season overall is just written poor and the script was composed last minute), too much was happening at once with no links to the previous seasons that made the series successful.

I really liked the first season of ‘Sugar’ on Apple.
Colin Farrell as a Hollywood private eye with great clothes and a cool car.
Gave up three episodes into Season 2
I agree that season 1 was much better than season 2; however, it does get better. Kind of ironic you quit after three episodes (not that I blame you) because the fourth was the best of the season, and things turned around from there.
I’m still rooting for it to be renewed for another season. There is still plenty they can do with Colin Farrell’s character and backstory. They just need a better detective case then the one they gave us this season.
Maybe I’ll go back and try again.
Yeh I didn’t like the twist. And the jumpy cinema graphs was jarring. Other than that the detective storyline and Cf were decent. S2 nope.
I didn’t make it past the first episode. It looked like more of the same I’ve seen many times before, but not as well done.

___It turns out he’s an alien, part of a team sent to study us.
Here’s what you learn in the show.
there’s a major change about halfway through the first season that sets it apart slightly. but i agree with the top comment, season 2 is not as good.
