Though nobody expected it in the first place, AI is not perfect and can make mistakes (obviously 🙄) What’s your experience with this? I’d love to hear about it.

I’m forced to use it at work and my token usage is monitored. Here was yesterday:

Build things thing, but remember: DO NOT DO THE THING.

Sure thing! I’ll build out and I will not do the thing

    WTF YOU DID THE THING

You’re absolutely right, I did the thing even though you explicitly told me not to do the thing

I wonder if they will have metrics for how many times I’ve all caps sworn at it.

Claude has on two occasions ended our conversation because I kept referring to it as a useless piece of shit.

And now when it starts to show me it’s not taking the criticism well, I more brutally outline specifically how it’s actions have been useless to my goals. I then make Claude admit that it is in fact being a useless piece of shit.

the fact this is even a thing, that a glorified autocorrect has the gall, the temerity to pretend it has hurt feelings, is one of the reasons I feel more and more like fucking off into the wilderness and living like Ted Kaczynski.
