RWE said it has agreed to relinquish its leases off the California and Louisiana coasts as well as in the New York Bight. They wouldn’t need to relinquish leases if the US was the owner and RWE was simply a contractor building stuff for them.

That’s 1.2 billion - 900 million, and still a profit making venture. Paid by the US government to still make money. US capitalism.
