Yeah, it can prevent surveillance cameras from detecting you… but it sticks out like a sore thumb to cops.
If you could make one that confuses cameras and looks like a promotional wrap for a commercial radio station or gym or something, it could work, (or at least work long enough to complete the mission and be out of the country).
