I forget sometimes that Lemmy audience is so young but I was born in 1975 and had these mars bars as a teenager.
Everything was better in the 80s and 90s I think, but im biased. :)
Genuinely surprised it’s not more
I know it’s shrinkflation but part of me (namely, me as a parent) appreciates it being a more reasonable size for something unhealthy and sweet. Me as a sweet loving goblin is horrified, though.

I agree with you 100% but also a dollar in 1991 vs a dollar in 2026 has different value.

It’s a combination of inflation and shrinkflation combined that makes it a lather-seeming difference.
It’s not like Fun Sized candy bars weren’t around back then…
even fun size are less than half the size of what they were. they took the small side and made it a square.
