So they close all of their nuclear power plants so that they have to buy electricity from the Nordic countries. According to current EU regulations, those Nordic countries must sell power on a free EU market. The electricity then becomes much more expensive because of that new demand.
And now Germany says it should not be possible regulate this? There’s a general election in Sweden in a few weeks and parties are trying to find way to separate these electricity markets.
