Yes, and everyone is one very bad day away from being dead.

They are talking about working or losing work, not about some random events.

I don’t know anyone who could die and make me a millionaire.

None of that is realistic though.

In the same vein I could in theory find 1 trillion dollars on the sidewalk tomorrow, but is there any point in ever considering that an actual possibility?

It’s realistic, just not probable. I know 3 different people who won over a million dollar scratcher and know of 4 others through one degree separation.

All but one of those was a problem gambler. But my point is, if you waste enough money it becomes realistic, if not probable.

If you’ve been investing regularly since you started working, a couple good months in the market could tick you over the milestone.
Hitting 1 million is very achievable with a half decent job over a decade or two.

They read the comment you responded to. You sounded like you were answering the question posed in that comment, when in fact you were just…saying stuff related to the question, without answering it?

3 good months can turn a several hundred thousandaire into a millionaire.

Was my point, and highlighted in the first sentence. A million is not an insurmountable achievement for a working individual

For an *investing individual. But yeah, you make a good technical point. If you start investing right now, it would take quite a bit more than some good months to hit a million though.

dont buy it then, more for me.

actual tradable float is much smaller than it appears to be, will be ran back up to 15+ again here soon. from there it’ll only be a measly 25x

That sounds like a high-risk investment. But grats if you bought it before it got through the roof. Definitely sell it before it falls.
