    So it looks an awful fucking lot like they just paid off the FAA early this year, and in turn, the idiots running the show now simply said “ok, great, you can sign your own inspections again - wink wink nudge nudge”.

    $3.1 million?? These must be some incredibly outdated laws that are being applied for that figure to be so low. Boeing planes will become the new Ford Pintos: it’s cheaper to kill a few people than it is to fix their shit.
