There’s not much more they can do without going off the book and into new territory, which would be super difficult. The end of this season still has mixed feelings for me, but was absolutely better than the start.

I have so many feelings about season 3 lol. The first season got me amped and I read all 3 books, which got me even more amped.
Then season 2 did it’s thing where it sorta stretched plotlines to fill out the season, and added some of it’s own.
Season 3 is following that same thread and I’m so mixed on my own reactions to it.
I guess moral of this was don’t read the series after watching the first season 🙃
You’re absolutely right about the stretching in the middle. Each season starts great, has a weird stretched middle, and then a solid finale.
I didn’t love the start of season 3, so this whole season felt like a slog, but the finale two episodes were excellent.
I’m glad that season 4 is the finale, because otherwise I probably wouldn’t stick with it.
