      I think it’s the F in FUD. As in the fear that completely clueless people have. Like imagining that you absolutely must have trillion billion miles of range or you’ll never get anywhere and people will laugh or something. That kind of fear.

      Phrasing sucks. I think it means “consumers refuse to buy second-hand EVs because they fear that batteries would lose a shitton of capacity. Turns out, they’re fine. The batteries, we mean.”

      Which is both good news (yay for good capacity on second-hand cars) and bad news (because EVs depreciate super fast and I’m counting on it to afford one, and may not depreciate as much anymore).
