If Dacia plays it’s cards right, it could replicate the success it had with ICE cars (especially the Duster) in the EV space, and become a major player in EU motor industry.

They doing great right now with hybrids. Their recent new model Bigster is super poplar in Germany right now. They just been popping out on every corner lately.

And, generally, under 30k for a huge suv is a steal that other companies can’t offer. Makes sense why Dacia is so popular today.

They should offer an extended range version with a price bump. I think it would help them move product — consumers could either buy the cheap version, or if they have range anxiety, pay a little more. It would help them compete. A 2026 mini cooper EV can go up to 250 miles.

Nice to hear they moved away from the Chinese crappy platform, that’s what blocked me from buying one. It looks a lot bulkier though, losing the “tiny tiny car” vibe

      loosing

      *losing :)

“Loosing” means “to set loose”, e.g. “loosing the hounds on the fugitive”, and is kinda only applicable in a pretty narrow set of circumstances.

All new European cars have driver facing cameras and other irritating features.

I will be aiming for an used EV as my next car.
