Fungi aren’t animals. If this group doesn’t consume fungi then they should call themselves something else entirely to avoid further confusion. Maybe they should go strictly by herbivores.

My response came from a place of me wishing things like that could be discussed without the black and white thinking. I haven’t heard anyone discuss that. And I have a feeling the knee jerk reaction would normally be defensive.
