My mother-in-law says that her fridge is haunted by her dad. You know how those fridges with build-in ice will beep and have the light come on if you touch the buttons? Hers will randomly light up and beep, and she says its her dad doing it. She’ll even yell at her dad to stop it if its during an inopportune time. I think its cute :)
I’m guessing this one does not grant wishes?
I hope to someday haunt a person’s HVAC system. No, I won’t take away their AC during a heat wave but they’re going to wonder why it keeps setting itself to one degree lower than they keep setting it to.
I’m going to cause so many family arguments.

That is surprisingly specific knowledge.
Finally allowed to touch the thermostat all you want!
I like that, even though it’s a ghost, it’s hiding.
This is literally the plot of one of the Amityville Horror sequels.
I 100% expected the cat to knock over the lamp.
It could have ended with the ghost that was haunting the lamp, and the ghost OF the lamp being friends!
So… Like… A yokai?
Yeah, I think this guy was at my house the other day.
I have a lamp on a digital timer. Day in, day out, it comes on at the same time and goes off at the same time, whether I’m here or not. We’re talking well over 15 years at this point. Might be pushing 20.
The other day I went into that room for the first time that day after dark and the lamp wasn’t on. Thought the bulb had died. Manually turned the lamp on via the timer. I was able to deduce from the number of button pushes it took that the timer had been in auto mode and that the lamp should have been on. But it wasn’t.
Absolutely no reason for it to have been off. The lamp, the bulb and the timer have all continued as if nothing weird happened since then.
Therefore maybe a ghost did it.
I think that ghost must be in my house!
