And the policy/laws around this should be focused on assisting suicidal people in improving their mental health and becoming less suicidal.

That’s only going to incentivize a person to not fail at committing suicide. And the policy/laws around this should be focused on assisting suicidal people in improving their mental health and becoming less suicidal.
