Photoshop is also a verb, has been for decades actually, meaning a use of photo editing software in general.

Because like so much of the IT field, most go for the easier thing to do and don’t have or are losing the skills to do these things themselves. A good photoshop is a rarity now, and often will get called AI slop because of it being good, so they don’t.
I always do this the shittiest way possible to show how low effort the shitpost is.

Eh. The choice between Android and iPhone is a bit tough if you don’t have access to GrapheneOS. You can have less freedom with Apple but good security and meh privacy, stock Android with freedom (but not soon) good security, and horrendous privacy, or another custom Android ROM that isn’t GrapheneOS, which has incredible freedom, bad security, and good privacy (assuming you don’t get hacked).

AFAIK the “huge updates” are written by humans in response to LLM found bugs.

I read through the exact message chain that article is referencing some time ago, which did not lead me to the conclusion the article would suggest. It seems that he consistently refers to AI use from the perspective of finding bugs more so than than fixing them, which he could definitely do a better job clarifying.

The KDE thing was a specific person declaring that they would hold a meeting about Gen AI in KDE, who hasn’t contributed to the project in years otherwise. Nobody is going to convince everyone to compile their own vibecoded version of KDE’s projects.
