Also true of Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay. Should they all give up on all morsels of sovereignty they have and give all their resources to the USA? Again, why is Venezuela the only country you think needs to do this? The precedent you are setting and arguments you are making means global dominance for the USA. It’s beyond cowardly and has nothing to do with socialism or class struggle, just Liberal moralizing and utilitarianism.

yes, every country in the monroe doctrine must consider the monroe doctrine. are you gonna be the one personally beating the shit out of every single air force pilot as they fly towards venezuela? if not, maybe consider that those pilots might actually be able to reach venezuela, and no one in the global north will be facing the consequences of letting them.

yeah that’s great but what’s the endgame? how do they get there? detail a concrete plan informed by genuine experience.

Outline a 100 step battle plan from your experience as a battle commander or you cannot advocate for resistance to imperialism!

Do you realize how servile and pathetic you come across?

Develop domestic drone mass production, set up fortresses in the jungles and mountains, strike at shipping through the panama canal, asymmetrical warfare in other nations, threaten the money. Same thing as Iran is doing at a smaller scale. Work with Cuba who already has these types of policies and programs and maintains their sovereignty despite being even closer to the USA and even easier to blockade due to them being an island.

I guarantee you the USA would back off after an initial wave of assaults like they did with Iran. They have no appetite for a ground invasion and wars cannot be won from the sky.

If you seriously believe imperialism is impossible to resist why are you even a socialist? Just go be a fascist or liberal if socialism has 0% chance of ever working because USA controls all and you cannot resist.

how long would that take? how long would they have? what resources would be necessary? how would they get them? what is their current military readiness? when was the last time the united states did a ground invasion? what were the circumstances then? what makes circumstances different now? how many civilian casualties can they expect? what is their current medical readiness? is it feasible for the us to do a decapitation strike? what happens in the event they try? how many of their civilians are right-wing? can these gusanos take over? how would they get oil to cuba? how would they resist clandestine interference? how might a country under the monroe doctrine be different from a country outside the area of the monroe doctrine that can shut down the strait of hormuz? can their tactics be adapted to work inside the radius of the monroe doctrine? if so, how? how much? and finally, how would they do all that within the limitations of chavismo? because they were never a marxist-leninist country. others in this thread and others have talked at length about that.

There are more ways to fight imperialism than getting mass murdered.

Do you not know the history of Latin America? Every one of those countries that tried having a socialist government got couped by fascist backed by usa and then had death squads and mass killings for years… on top of their resources being plundered. That is what Venezuela is avoiding.

Its really fucking brave of you to sit in your comfy chair and ignorantly demand Venezuelans do the exact thing other people tried which lead to millions of people being murdered for an idealist notion of sovereignty.

For the third time I will ask you, What do you propose Venezuela does instead? If you don’t have an answer other then “get genocided” just shut the fuck up.

So no suggestions on what they should do other than die? fuck off. You are an Idealist ultra who does not look at the material reality and just wants other people to die while you risk nothing yourself.

i grew up in a war zone. I watched people I know die. Fuck off with this weak shit. It’s the most persecuted, downtrodden of the earth that struggle and fight. It’s the comfortable and powerful who cower.

So because you’ve watched people die that gives you the right to decide other people should die because you don’t like how their strategy makes you feel?

Your criticism is not valid because it is just some vague idealist notion about “sovereignty.” If you have criticisms based on Material Realities instead of your feelings you can share it and we can apply dialectical materialism to the issue to hash it out.

Delcy’s father was tortured to death by CIA collaborators. That is a Material data point that you seem to be missing. Maduro’s family supported Delcy’s family while she was growing up. She was hand picked Maduro. If you have a problem with Delcy you have a problem with Maduro.

It doesn’t matter what you think because Venezuela is going to do what Venezuela is going to do while you sit around doing nothing. They have dozens of people smarter than you and more versed in Historical and Dialectical Materialism working on the problem. They are making their decisions with a more information than you have.

Your only responsibility is to support them in their struggle against imperialism or to shut the fuck up.
