I barely dare mention it was just a few hours of dial-up screen time a day, on the shared family computer… and only if you did your chores. So you should really be more tolerant with this irreparable trauma we carry.

A lazy teen not having access to their phone for some fifteen minutes because they haven’t done their chores in four hours isn’t the end of the world for them. It certainly shouldn’t push your cortisol levels through the roof either. For all we know none of this is even true.
