    Well, as far as I remember, the real toys liked being played with, and were even sad when they weren’t played with. So… theoretically sex dolls would also like being “played” with

        They weren’t being played with in their intended way. I’m sure the toy story sex dolls would be miserable if they were just dressed up and used to drive in the carpool lane.

          I honestly feel like Sid gets a bad wrap. Like, yeah, he’s a bit of a dick to his sister and doesn’t have much respect for other people’s possessions, but he’s also a kid and at his age those things are entirely environmental. Hes also incredibly creative and capable. I’m pretty confident that, even as an adult with a well above average skill in fabrication, I wouldn’t be able to make that erector set spider baby without researching it. Plus, he’s got Barbie legs on a fishing pole, he’s swapping the heads of dolls and dinosaurs, there’s no way those things are going together without custom joints.

          Yeah, he’s horrifically maimed a bunch of sentient beings, but he wasn’t aware they were sentient and they’re all still living beings, even the fishing pole which would have been inanimate like other tool toys. He literally gave life to a toy that didn’t have it. Kid should get some credit.

            From what I remember, kind of putting the subtle hints together; his dad isn’t exactly a good role model. I think I wrote about this before, but there’s a good read between the lines indication of abuse, trauma, and neglect. I might be over-thinking it but having worked in education, I’ve seen that kind of behavior.

            FYI it’s “bad rap” (rap being an accusation or blame, think like how a rap sheet outlines the bad stuff you’ve done). A bad wrap is something you’d get at a restaurant.
