So as long as the Democrats “protest, apply soft pressure against and criticize murderous acts” while at the same time providing political cover for Israel, and continuing arms sales and US financial support to the regime, then it’s not the same as endorsing genocide? I think you are right that grassroots democrats are generally opposed to these things, but sadly the vast majority of the party establishment is not. Let’s hope the midterms in the US results in enough anti Zionist candidates getting elected that it will make some difference.
