Flint is a good example of how to change things. They source their water from Lake Huron now and have better quality than national average. They removed all lead service lines.
By doing irreparable harm to a local community until the story becomes national and some politicians swoop in to earn election points by solving a problem that shouldn’t have happened in the first place? I don’t think I’d qualify that as a good example.
