European data shows the EU spent €197 billion (US$209 billion) on Russian fossil fuels since March 2022, while REPowerEU saved an estimated €278 billion.

From March 2022 to July 2026, European Union countries paid Russia around €197 billion or approximately US$209 billion for fossil fuels.

Just keep offering up kibbles in the palm of your hand to the wolf hellbent on eating you, that is definitely going to work out for you Europe!

Is what I think you meant to say. And yeah, it is unbelievable and should be insulting that in order to mitigate the fallout of the myopic decision to wage war against their adversary they indirectly support them.
