Where did I say I like Elon Musk? I agree he is a Nazi, but we are talking about active ongoing air defense and general operation of Ukrainian forces attempting to stop both an invasion of a mass land army and also acts of mass terror against the civilian population… so yeah fuck Elon Musk I agree but there is you know… nuance here and you have smashed yourself in the face with it.
There are well established fulcrums of leverage over Elon Musk for his sabotage of the military Starlink service for Ukraine, specifically because Starlink was contracted for military services specifically, which already includes layerd of vetting, security checks and all of that… so there is nowhere for Elon Musk to go here.
This isn’t to say that Europe and elsewhere shouldn’t be developing alternatives now, of course they should!

Russia likes being able to sway Musk. Most right wingers are aligned with Musk. It could be somebody with a beef with Musk (this does still include several factions of right wingers). No notable left group that I know of would use this methodology (they don’t typically pay randoms like that, especially not across borders). I’m mostly leaning to some fringe far right group.
I know you assume is Russia but after the last stand Starlink, sorry Starshield pulled probably 30%-40% of the people are happy to see them burn.
