What does it reference?
I interpreted it as a BMW driver really close behind the pilot, thereby filling up the pilots rearview mirror. Someone else said its about inexcusably bright lights on new cars. Both work I guess

Yeah, but what has this got to do with planes?
It’s just a joke of how obnoxious headlights are on newer cars and people driving on high beams all the time or not adjusting their headlight angles correctly. It’s so common everywhere that even a pilot is getting blinded.
I interpreted it as the issue is now so common, these are everywhere
