He’s got super strength, I’m pretty sure whatever internal body restructuring happened also allowed for strong enough arms to withstand it. I can’t remember which one it’s in but he’s holding back a lot with all his enemies so as not to kill them. Also he’s an adult in some of them and he named himself so of course a teenage boy who suddenly got super powers is gonna be like “I’m a man now!”
It was in Superior Spider-Man. Doc Ock takes over Peter’s body and starts running around as Spider-Man. He confronts Scorpion and punches his jaw off, realizing that all the times he fought Spidey, he was always holding back and could’ve completely destroyed him any time he wanted.
