First Tram World Championship in Vienna: Celebrate with us!

On 13 September, Vienna will become the public transport capital of the world! Teams from 25 nations will compete in the first Tram World Championships to crown the world’s best tram drivers. Around the unique competitions, we will be celebrating a big public transport festival on Rathausplatz with exhibitions, hands-on stations and a programme for the whole family. Come along and experience Vienna’s “Öffis” up close ❤️

A 250-meter-long course with eight competitive disciplines will be created between City Hall and the Burgtheater. The competitions will be held in two races at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CET. You can experience it all live and in color here. Experience the family of tramdrivers in a great and peaceful competition.
