    Right, they only undo science when it makes the government look bad, like during a certain pandemic in the recent past.

      What did they do? And does that outweight the fascism that we can expect for us?

        They did suppress early reports on the coronavirus by Chinese medical personnel and scientists, (including arrests of people who spoke out) allowing the (initially localised) epidemic to grow into a worldwide pandemic due to belated and half arsed response pretty much everywhere.

        Also, China is spiraling increasingly towards a fascist regime as well. Their “communist” party is communist in nothing but name.

          You can* be communist alongside being authoritarian without necessarily being fascist. What makes you say they’re spiralling towards that?

          No. I know they do many rejectable things but I am aware of none that undermines science.

          Even the corona report suppression is not undermining science itself.
