This allows America to rearm and continue murdering innocent people. America’s military was getting ready to resupply when the rare earth ban came into effect. Why even negotiate with America anymore. They were in a winning position and they just gave it up. China can go without America but America can’t go without China. And they didn’t even remove all of the tarifs just some of them. China could have gotten far more for that deal if they even wanted to make it. It just feels like a big mistake.
I think it isnt smart to suspect malice, incompetence or negligence, as always. We are talking about a country that has stoically worked towards world domination and even if they, knowing all the details, which we dont, have made a mistake, I still believe in the chinese comrades. Of the five countries that actually teach and preach ML thought, none are in a position to just do what they want, not even china imo. So I guess I’ll wait and see.
Fair. I’ve seen enough however, I don’t anticipate that China will do anything to actually address American encroachment on their region and constant dismissal of their interests until it’s too late.
How do you define “enough”? How does it make a difference to now formally declare to have lost hope in the largest and most successful communist project of all time? I dont think it is marxist at all to go down that route. It feels like reactionary fatalism.
