The current leader of the party in charge (Taoiseach/Prime minister) is in trouble, but might hold on to the position for the presidency. But even if he doesn’t, the next in line to take his position is probably the current minister for justice - Jim O’Callaghan, who is in favour of it most likely because he doesn’t understand it properly.
So we likely still have another six or seven months at least, of this crap.
