This is the type of lie a 5 year old tells to avoid getting in trouble.
You can’t be “post” to something that is ongoing.
It’s being erased as it proceeds.
The logical dance and denials these fuckers make galls me.
I didn’t vote for “genocide”. I voted for “defensive weapons”. (Oxymoronic.)
I didn’t vote for “genocide”. I just didn’t read the bill.
Do you fucking job, motherfucker.
It’s almost worse to vote for a bill without knowing what’s in it. Almost.
True, but that’s also how legislation in the US works. Congress doesn’t really legislate in a traditional sense anymore. So Its not like he voted for a piece of Legislation called the “Continue The Genocide Bill”, or something.
Instead, these massive spending bills, stuffed to the brim with “pork” (aspects of the bill that are usually unrelated, but that legislators put in, to appease constituents), that are literally thousands upon thousands of pages long, get shoved across the finish line, and nobody really knows what’s in them.
So, I kind of believe that Ro Kanna, personally, might not have known about whatever the specific provision in this bill was.
But on the other hand… This is part of why you have staff, as a congressperson… To do that fucking research for you! So you know what you’re voting for! If you’re gonna vote for it anyway, say there’s a provision about healthcare funding that your constituents need, or they’ll die, or something. THEN JUST SAY THAT!!!
Since you can’t pick and choose what parts of these massive bills you can vote on, then play the two level game. Vote for the thing with the genocide funding in it, if it also has the “don’t kill my constituents” provision, and then turn around and force through a “stop funding genocide” provision in the next bill, or vice versa. Have some fucking political instincts, instead of playing dumb! Jesus Christ, I hate libs!
Ok, rant over
“things haven’t changed post genocide”
This is how you know these are MAGA trolls inciting division among the left.
“post-genocide” indeed
This about the appropriations bill again? If so, you are deliberately dishonest in describing it. Which is a shame.
If not, what bill is this referring to?
