Today, 21 January 2026, the European Commission published its long-awaited proposal for a Digital Networks Act (DNA). Framed as a technical modernisation of Europe’s telecom rules, the proposal marks a decisive shift away from core principles that have safeguarded an open and neutral internet for almost a decade.

Wtf is wrong with europe? Everyone surrendered to tech companies last year. Why?
We have been battling these assholes for decades. They only have to win once, we have to fight all the time. Money does this, it’s that simple. Money is power, therefore democracy doesn’t matter, ideals don’t matter, only whatever people with money want matters in the end.
Because corruption.
We have all the wrong people in charge across the west, from business to government to organizations. The wrong people choosing the wrong people, choosing for being nihlists, they believe in nothing other than self interest oftentimes.
An inevitable consequence of not having a clear separation of money and state. Money and profit has taken over as the sole guiding imperative of civilization, it doesn’t matter what we think, only what is financially expedient.
